Another modern-influenced alter, and while Cloudpost decks didn't survive long enough for this to see too much play, I'm sure it'll find a home (here's hoping they bring back man-lands). Will have to tackle the Innistrad version soon enough.

Snapcaster Mage
Oh Snap!
The flavour of the month right now, I couldn't help but pimp out my only copy of this little juggernaut.
Path to Exile
A very simple alter, and a very effective one at that. Wild Nacatl deserves just as many of these as the rest of the modern field put together at the moment, though hitting a stray goyf or knight doesn't hurt.
p.s. excuse the marks from the scanner.
Solemn Simulacrum
I'm not a particularly huge fan of the new art for Solemn Simulacrum, so a new sad robot was called for the night before PTQ Perth. Though I didn't end up attending, I did enjoy paying tribute to one of the greatest books of all time (Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy).
One from the classic movie soon to follow.
Misty Rainforest
Tap, Pay 1 life, Sacrifice Misty Rainforest... But I don't wanna! Sufficed to say this is my favourite alter of mine, and I hate sliding it into my graveyard and fetching something else. Only 3 more to go!
Merfolk Sovereign
One of my first alters, I was particularly chuffed with how the water turned out. Of course, the art lent itself to being extended above the text boxes, which helps accentuate the pose. A little rough at the edges, but I love the existing art, and I just love the card.
Lord of Atlantis
Hope you're not sick of merfolk yet, there'll be plenty more to come (I plan on completing the whole deck...)
My first old-border card, doing the deep blues and subtle colour alterations to the lord himself was quite rewarding when compared with painting around the lettering. It does look old-school though, as befitting the scariest fish in the deck (just play an island, I dare you)
Kira, Great Glass-Spinner
My second most-recent one, legacy staple in merfolk decks, always makes me sad to have to relegate this to the sideboard. Just one of three batch-painted, though this one escaped, and another will be let loose for sale.

Aether Vial
One of my first experiments with white, and an exercise in knowing the importance of primer. Currently sitting pretty in my merfolk deck.
